6 circular routes (and linking sections between them) are available as A5 printed booklets:

  • UPPER THAMES (5 churches)

In addition, there is a 100-mile CYCLE ROUTE taking in all 36 churches on the Athelstan Pilgrim Way, more information and download available below.

WALKING ROUTE 1

Routes between four churches:

Malmesbury Abbey

St John the Baptist, Brokenborough

All Saints, Corston

Holy Rood, Rodbourne


OPENING TIMES OF CHURCHES:

Malmesbury Abbey is open daily, and the café is open Mon-Sat 9.30am – 3.30pm. Brokenborough, Corston, and Rodbourne churches are only open by arrangement, please contact the office 01666 826666 or by email at office@malmesburyabbey.com.

St James, Draycot Cerne (CCT)

All Saints, Sutton Benger


OPENING TIMES OF CHURCHES:

All churches are open daily 10am-4pm, with the exception of Seagry and Tytherton Kellaways (visit the Draycot Group website for contact details re. access). Draycot Cerne is in the care of the Churches Conservation Trust, and can be opened on request with the provided details.

WALKING ROUTE 4

All Saints, Garsdon

St Michael & All Angels, Brinkworth

OPENING TIMES OF CHURCHES:

All churches are open during daylight hours, apart from Dauntsey and Garsdon. Dauntsey: open on request, with a list of keyholders in church porch. Garsdon: open Saturdays and Sundays 10am-4pm April to September.
